MAX31855 Shortage!
Hello all, I have shut down the store for a bit due to difficulties in acquiring MAX31855 chips, the main IC on all the thermocouple boards. I am working to find a way to get a supply, but no luck so far. I am trying to find the best solution and there is a chance that we will go back to selling the older and more costly MAX6675 chip on the boards.
I will keep updating here and let everyone know what is going on. In the meantime you can check out some of the products on the wiki. You can also now see all board designs on Github (http://github.com/mcleng). If you need a part or product in a pinch there is a chance there is one or two of something kicking around, send us an email at sales@ryanjmclaughlin.com and we will do what we can to try to accomidate you.
